| Abstract | Plantar fissures are common dermatological manifestations characterized by dryness, hyperkeratosis, scaling, and cracking of the plantar skin. Deep fissures may produce pain, tenderness, bleeding, and difficulty in weight-bearing activities. Occupational exposure, prolonged standing, walking, barefoot activity, cold weather, and inadequate skin care may contribute to their development and persistence. Individualized homoeopathic case management considers the presenting pathology along with characteristic modalities, physical generals, mental generals, and associated symptoms. |
