| Abstract | Livestock, especially cattle and buffaloes, are key contributors to the agricultural economy, providing milk, meat, and other dairy products. Identifying the breeds of these animals is crucial for effective livestock management but is often done manually, which can be slow and error-prone. This project aims to develop an image-based system that uses deep learning to automatically identify the breeds of cattle and buffaloes. Beyond breed classification, the system can capture important attributes such as average milk yield, lifespan, and other breed-specific traits. By leveraging image datasets and machine learning models, the solution offers farmers and the dairy industry a smart, reliable, and scalable tool for managing livestock more efficiently. This approach supports informed decision-making, improves productivity, and brings digital transformation to the agricultural sector. |
