Abstract | The present study examines the impact of human resource management on the performance of government institutions. In today’s rapidly changing economic environment marked by globalization, increasing demands from investors and customers, and growing competition government institutions strive to enhance performance by reducing costs, streamlining processes, introducing new practices, and improving quality in order to remain competitive. A quantitative research design was employed, with data collected from a sample of 240 respondents. The analysis revealed that all proposed hypotheses were rejected, with the exception of the fifth hypothesis, which stated that *decentralization is positively associated with organizational performance*. The findings confirm that decentralization plays a significant role in improving the performance of government institutions. |
